Test Ride # 1, post Molly-arrival in Boston. And post-shopping excursions where we spent even more money at Bike Alley and EMS to fit lots of items into a small trailer while realizing that each item adds more and more weight that will be carried by our very own legs for, count them, 3,975 miles. Assuming we don't get lost. The 4,000 mile mark will surely be passed by the time all the beer runs are finished and all Garmin mixups have taken their toll!
Test Ride #1 was very well-received by all three participants (guest rider Scott Dolmat-Connell added some semi-pro flair, exhibiting top-notch wheelies and stunt moves), except when a skirmish took place at the top of Mount Wachusett. Some local Wachusett Brewery Green Monsta beer as a recovery drink started what we hope becomes a trend throughout the United States...roll on into camp and pop some local brew. It's a surefire way to get these two ladies across this vast land.
